Oh, the difference a single win can make. One win on Sunday would put the Cowboys alone in first place in the NFC East. A win would put the Giants back in contention in the same division. Wins for the Bengals and Texans would restore their respective Super Bowl ambitions (and get the stink off their struggling QBs). Wins for the Dolphins and Titans would prove their sterling Septembers were no flash in the pan, while wins for the Packers and Falcons keeps division-crown hopes alive.
Oh, the difference a single loss can make. A loss in Houston or Cincy would leave fans demanding Josh Freeman start for their team in Week Six. A loss by the Ravens would kick the ‘Flacco makes too much money’ rumblings into high gear. The Packers would be out of contention in the NFC North. The Falcons would be out playoff contention.
